Action Gear Adventures 2015

Action Gear Adventures hopes to create a platform for adventure enthusiast to take on organised challenges and adventure based activities that one would not know how to organise or the time to do so. Why encouraging people to take on a variety of adventure activities we hope to build a focused community who will regular go on excursions, activities and take part in events. We plan to organise and run a pre-determined and dynamic list of events that anyone can part in. We will strive to make sure each event is well organised and offers an amazing experience to each customer.

Event: Mountain Bike Skills and Fitness Camp

Date: 30th and 31st May 2015

Estimated Number of Participants: 50


We plan to provide participants with a mountain biking experience like no other. Participants will have the opportunity to work with a season Professional Mountain Biker who will provide a Basic Skills Course and Short Training Ride on the first day. On the second day, the participants will be treated to a much longer training wide with the Pro and have the opportunity to put their learnt skills to the test.

Event: Snow Boarding Holiday

For many, experiencing snowboarding is a cost experience. Traditionally, one heads over season while South Africa is in its summer. It’s a costly experience and we believe we can provide a similar experience in our own back Yard. Afriski offer Snow Boarding just inside Lesotho. A mix of synthetic and real snow, high altitude of the Maluti Mountains and a good vibe can provide the same overseas snowboarding experience with a fraction of the cost. We hope to host a few families for an Action Gear Themes Snow Boarding weekend.

Event: Caving

Take a group of brave individuals on a quest to explore a few caves in Northern Gauteng and provide the adventure of the unknown in some of the darkest places in South Africa.

Event: Trail Run

Provide an exhilarating trail experience for anyone who dares to take on a challenge. Participants will have the opportunity to experience and explore unfamiliar trails in The Cradle, Gauteng. A over the top trail event will host nearly 300 trail enthusiast.

Event: Fishing Camp

Provide a fishing enthusiast the ability to get together and share trade secrets, experiences and stories all while creating their own stories on this fishing camp. We will provide an experience fisherman who can teach and host the event including a number of talks and session.

Event: Cable Ski Fun Day

In conjunction with Stoke City, we will provide a fun day and cable ski experience where customers and adventure enthusiasts can part take in a skiing experience close to home. The Cable ski will allow for Beginners and experienced skiers to practice, learn and just have fun. On the day, we will provide a few challenges to keep things interesting.

Event: Magaliesberg Canopy Tour

Along with a first class hosting experience at Sparkling Eater hotel, Participants will get to experience the heart of the Magaliesberg by Canopy Tour with well-trained guides. Participants will make their way down a gorge zig zagging along a several zip lines.
