Is the GoPro Hero4 really that impressive?

It's not like the world isn't already impressed with the quality these little cameras can produce. And you would have experienced insane footage on the web ranging from active volcanoes, death defining stunts and mind blowing diving expeditions - and that's just naming a few. But the new GoPro Hero4 Black is being classified as the most advanced camera yet and is merely focused on improving video footage with its 4K video at 30 frames per second capabilities.

What makes the GoPro Hero4's video quality so insane?

The HERO4 features ultra high resolution quality of 4K at 30 frames per second + high frames rates at 1080p120. Incredible low light capabilities, including the new nightlapse setting. 2X the high fidelity sound. Faster processing. Protune settings that unlock manual control of many of your GoPro’s features, and so much more.

But why are we trying to convince you otherwise? Just check out the video below and ensure you turn up the 4K option in YouTube to get the full experience. If your computer is not able to, you'll still see the vast improvement in quality - that's for sure!

The GoPro Hero4 Silver as another option?

The GoPro Hero4 Silver unfortunately doesn’t offer 4K video at 30fps but does come equipped with a handy touch screen display offering easier navigation of the cameras menus and features, with the ability to frame shots, and review content.

The GoPro Hero 4 Silver will be able to capture 4K at 15fps, 2.7K at 30fps, 1440p at 48fps, 1080p at 60fps, 960p at 100fps, and 720p at 120fps and includes the already mentioned features such as wireless and Bluetooth connectivity together with HiLight Tag, QuikCapture and waterproofing.
