A dash cam is a small digital video camera that mounts to a car's dashboard. It then records the driver’s journey whenever the car is on and moving.
It is an essential tool for ensuring safety on the road for both driver and passenger. Dash cams play an important role in insurance claims in the case of an accident, indicating who was at fault.
Your dash cam guards against illegal activity in your car and shows who was at fault during an accident. Some higher-end models also show speed, direction, driver behaviour and more.
For anyone who spends a fair amount of time travelling on the road, it's a must-own product.

How much footage can I record before my memory is full?
At Full HD settings, a 32GB SD card will hold about 4 hours of footage for each camera. Once full, the camera will automatically record over the oldest footage, unless it has been locked (either manually or by the camera’s collision sensor). Battery life is not applicable as the camera runs off your cigarette lighter when the car is on.
How does it charge?
Included with your purchase is a USB charging cable and 12V cigarette lighter adaptor which will charge the camera when plugged in and the engine is running.
Do I need a computer or special software?
No. Your footage can be played back, deleted and everything in
between using the built in screen and on-device controls.
How is the dash camera mounted to the windshield?
The camera is mounted behind the rear-view mirror, using a mount similar to a GPS device. It can be removed when the vehicle is left unattended, to help prevent theft.
How do you download the video footage?
Either access the SD card directly from the camera and use a 3rd party (micro) SDcard reader (not included) or connect the entire camera unit to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
How does warranty work? Who do you contact?
This product is under warranty against manufacturer defects for a period of 18 months from date of purchase. For warranty queries, contact Action Gear on 011 781 1323 or firstname.lastname@example.org
